WHEN TO SEE A BIO

Do you know you want to improve your physical abilities, fitness levels and/or overall quality of life but don’t know what is safe and useful for you to do? See a biokineticist! If You are:

  •  Recovering from an injury, are no longer in severe pain, but definitely not back to your ‘normal’,

  •  Struggling with aches and pains from your daily tasks and responsibilities,

  •  Have been diagnosed with a chronic or lifestyle disease,

  •  Wanting to focus on your health and start exercising but don’t know if it’s safe to or where to even begin,

  •  A sportsman/woman who wants to improve your competitive edge

  •  Wanting to start your family or have recently had a baby and want to start exercising and moving again

  •  Have any movement related needs that you need guidance or motivation with

WHAT TO EXPECT

When seeing a biokineticist, your first visit will be an evaluation of what your movement needs are, where your current ability is at and a detailed history of movement and any related concerns. This will serve as a baseline to start from for your individualized prescription of movement and a strategy going forward will be discussed.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

After your evaluation, your biokineticist will design a personalized exercise program to address your exact movement needs.

You will be given a home program to do independently and would have discussed how
often you should be coming in to work 1-on-1 with your biokineticist to become confident and comfortable with your exercises.
